Our Classes

NWTS offers classes for men entering the ministry, pastoral continuing education and the edification
of all interested laypersons. Although the admission requirements for academic credit reflect our high standards, we encourage anyone interested in learning more about the Bible to audit any class for only $40 per semester without having to take the course for degree credit or apply to one of the degree programs we offer.

Classes oriented for the ministerial candidate are often small, and some are even enrollment limited.

We believe strongly that pastors
should be mentored by pastors.
This necessitates that some of the pastoral theology classes are carefully controlled so that the issues and concerns of our students can be addressed in an environment that
allows for close personal attention.

This characteristic sets NWTS apart
from mere academic institutions.

Many of our class offerings are scheduled with the layperson in mind. The diverse group in this picture is the Westminster Confession of Faith class from the Fall 2004 semester.

Other classes well attended by both students and laypersons range in size from about a dozen to as many as 38 in NT 712 Gospel of John.
